Planning our poster.
•The focus of our poster for “Payday" will be to vaguely present an element of the plot while expressing the violent nature of our antagonist.
•The poster will consist of a pile of money covered in blood which the viewers will acknowledge as a wrong doing from our antagonist. There will be one particular note that will have the blade we used stabbed into the top right hand corner of the note, the eyes on the head will be crossed out in black ink. This note will be above the rest of the notes of which will scattered all over the page. This note will be centred in the page. With the knife stabbed into the corner of thenote you will then be able to see the reflection of the antagonist in the knife. The view of the villain will be slightly blurred as there will also be blood on the murder weapon. The shot will be a close up as we will allow the mask to be the central focus of the poster

Preparing for our intended image.
As the central focus of our magazine we have a clear and achievable image for our poster.
A pile of blood stained money will serve as the background while one note stands out this will be altered. The Queens face will be edited as her eyes will be crossed out as a typical image concerning death. As well as this the note will also be stabbed by a knife similar to the one our antagonist uses. In the reflection of this knife people will be able to vaguely see the face of our antagonist.
Images that we will need to take consist of:
•Pile of money
•Knife
•Antagonist
A substantial amount of editing will be necessary in order for us to achieve our intended final product. We
are going to use two programs to do so these programs being “Photoshop” and “Paint”. By using these we will be able to edit the blood effect onto the money, place the knife in a suitable position, edit the notes appearance and create the reflection of our antagonist in the knife.
The primary program that we will use for the creation of our poster however will be “Microsoft Publisher”.

Other manditory features.
Regardless of whether aspects of our image challenge the typical conventions of a horror poster we understand that there are some compulsory features that we must include in order for our poster to be legitimate.
These include:
•Website address for “Payday”
•The release date
•Which film company is presenting the film
•Acknowledgment of the actors involved
•Acknowledgment of other aspects of the films creation e.g. screenwriter, director etc.
•A line of text directly referencing the film using a play on words or another literary device

Addressing our audience.
Based on the preliminary feedback we gained we have made various decisions based on our results.
In terms of our colour scheme we are aiming to include primarily black and red where possible which will stand out significantly due to the light colour of the notes we are using.
The main focus as previously mentioned will be the villain, as his image will be vaguely reflected within the knife present.
As the image of our antagonist is being reflected a close up shot will be appropriate in order to allow him to appear as a shrouded figure in which the reader will want to find out more.
Furthermore we have decided to include the following features as compulsory and essential for following the codes and conventions.
